Is support included?
We offer retainers to provide the best value and ROI for your business. Retainers are much better than support for various reasons.
What is a retainer and why do I need one?
A retainer is a pricing agreement between Blue Nile and client for a set rate and period of time versus proposals for each task or maintenance and support for each of the services offerings. We will work with you to scope out what work will likely need to be completed, agree upon a monthly allotment of hours and then work collaboratively to meet the marketing and technical needs and goals.
Advantages of engaging in a retainer-based relationship:
- It’s Cheaper: Perhaps the most obvious and straightforward benefit – you’ll get a greater value as a retainer client, as a retainer rate is always going to be cheaper than ad-hoc!
- The agency does what you haven’t got time to do BNDM will do what you do not have time to do or the expertise in-house to deliver.
- Long-term thinking and continuity: It is becoming more and more important to integrate all marketing channels with technology so as to have the best chance at success. Consistency also establishes your reputation and generates genuine momentum on each marketing channel and collectively.
- Brand Familiarity: Working with someone who already understands your brand saves time and leads to better returns.
- Long-term strategy: It’s easier to integrate a single agency’s projects into your larger marketing strategy.
- Creativity, Proactive Thinking and Experimentation: A longer-term relationship supports experimentation and optimization. In most cases, retainer-based clients get the first crack at new technologies and new techniques.
- Trust: You have priority access to an agency you trust and don’t need to worry about whether they’ve already booked another project when you need them.
- Budget Management: Marketing strategy and technology roadmaps are much easier with predictable scopes and retainers leading to better plans and execution.
- Efficiency: Booking time in advance saves money, compared to budgeting projects one at a time or requesting and submitting proposals for each.
- Synergy/Consistency: Having the same people offering service month after month tends to generate better results ensuring a consistent brand experience.
What is a Web Platform?
Web Platform = Responsive Web Site Design + Conversion Rate Optimization + Content Management System (CMS) + Email Marketing Automation & Integration + Base SEO and SEO Ready Setup.
We focus on building web platforms for forward-thinking businesses that want to grow exponentially. Having a beautifully designed website is not enough but certainly a starting point. What is Responsive Design vs. a Mobile Website?
Responsive design is included. The short answer is that they provide very similar end results. The website visitor is able to experience the website on a mobile device in a friendly and easy-to-use manner. A mobile website is generally known as “older technology” and responsive design is newer technology. A mobile website design is typically a separate website that is designed for a mobile phone. What is the ROI of Inbound Marketing?
Inbound marketing is more than just converting visitors into customers; Inbound marketing can also build brand authority in your industry and help with customer retention. All of these are important to the long-term health of your business. And not all of these elements are measurable, making it impossible to determine if you received a positive return on investment.
You have a marketing budget. You need to see a return on this investment. I get it. A bunch of smart people have worked to quantify what ROI you should expect from inbound marketing.
What should I do?
Your business depends on you taking this seriously otherwise you will fall behind your competitors and eventually fade into irrelevance. Even when you know this is important, how do you know you are doing it right?
Don’t be cheap. This is vital to your business. Don’t expect it to work without spending time and money.
Find digital marketing experts, either internally or externally that you can trust.
Don’t be scared. Technology can be scary. It can make you feel dumb. Your company needs courage here. Even for industry experts inbound marketing is relatively new. We are all learning.
Do keep learning. The digital world is evolving quickly. An expert today will be a novice a year from now if they haven’t kept up with industry’s changes.
Don’t stop trying. You’re going to waste money occasionally trying something that doesn’t work. You’re going to feel like this is not worth the time and energy. Don’t let it deter you. Getting your online presence right is work, but I wouldn’t suggest waiting to find out the cost of not having an online presence.
Is there a minimum starting price?
We don’t have any pre-priced budgets. We also do not have any monthly minimums or required buy-in packages. Our ability to handle all budgets -big, small and in-between sets us apart. Each client’s campaign is evaluated individually based off their goals, needs and ability.
